What is Dot Project?
Dot Project is a web based system that theTWO movie project is using to track and assign the tasks involved.
Who should login?
You should only login if you have been asked to contribute to the TWO project. See Getting Started for how to get asked to contribute.
How do I Login to Dot Project?, What is my password?
Dot Project uses your forum login so if you see “Logged in as” in the upper left of a forum page you can go directly to http://www.hash.com/dotproject . If you are not logged in to the forum and you go to dotproject you will be redirected to the forum login. Use your forum password there, and then go back to http://www.hash.com/dotproject
>See Dot Project for the login steps.
How do I communicate with people on the project?
You should use the forum for general communication.
You should use task logs to communicate with the task creator, and fellow assignees.
You can use the Contacts link at the top of the Dot Project page to email fellow contributors, but this should be used rarely so the all contributors can be involved in the discussion.
The tasks are all out of order on the view project page. How do I sort them?
- If it looks like some tasks aren’t under the correct task you need to logout and log back in.
- Otherwise just click the title of the column you want to sort. In this case its the title of the “Task Name” column.
I tried to do such and such but got Error Page405 that said error 405. How do I make it work?
Everytime I’ve had this error loging out and back in and then trying what I was doing again worked.
A task I was assigned by email doesn’t show up in my todo list. How do I fix that?
The task needs to be located under view project, and then edited, to set the “Dates” tab’s “Finish Date”.
