SEQUENCE 2_13 - "THE BREAKIN"

2_13_01 INT. MRS. YOOP'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

Eerie noises sound and frightening forms flit through the shadows.

GREEN MONKEY is hiding under the BED. Only his eyes show in the darkness.

2_13_02 MRS. YOOP snores.

2_13_03 GREEN MONKEY creeps out into the darkness. His eyes are wide as he feels his way around. Suddenly he feels something and is surprised.

2_13_04 GREEN MONKEY is feeling TIN GIRL's face. GREEN MONKEY recoils. TIN GIRL points to a bedpost.

TIN GIRL (whispering) 227 Wait! look!

2_13_05 GREEN MONKEY sees the enchanted apron hanging high on a tall bedpost. He reaches for it but he’s too short. He jumps but misses it at each jump.

2_13_06 GREEN MONKEY springs warily on the sleeping form of MRS. YOOP.

2_13_07 TIN GIRL watches, concerned.

2_13_08 GREEN MONKEY balances… All seems well. MRS. YOOP stirs, snores noisily.

2_13_09 TIN GIRL watches aghast.

2_13_10 GREEN MONKEY freezes, and grabs onto the bedpost. MRS. YOOP's Herculean snoring threatens to suck him into her maw.

2_13_11 MRS. YOOP's snoring grows more powerful.

2_13_12 GREEN MONKEY is fully horizontal now, eyes shut in terror, clinging to the bedpost.

2_13_13 TIN GIRL eyes are wide.

2_13_14 MRS. YOOP's snore subsides. She smacks her thick lips, nestles back into her pillow.

2_13_15 GREEN MONKEY, hanging onto the bedpost, looks up at the apron.

2_13_16 TIN GIRL looks anxiously from GREEN MONKEY to MRS. YOOP.

2_13_17 GREEN MONKEY jumps, grabs the apron, but hangs in the air for a moment. He then falls right onto MRS. YOOP's chest.

MRS. YOOP Oof! What? What?

2_13_18 GREEN MONKEY runs with the apron flying behind him to the door.

MRS. YOOP (OS) 228 Try to steal my apron, will you! I’ll teach you...

2_13_19 As GREEN MONKEY frantically tries to pull the door open, he’s grabbed from behind by MRS. YOOP.

2_13_20 MRS. YOOP hisses hideously.

MRS. YOOP 228 Gotcha!

Her hideous face fills GREEN MONKEY’S vision.

FADE UP FROM BLACK

2_13_21 GREEN MONKEY is locked in an ornate BOX, with only his head sticking out from the top of it. All around him in the murky darkness, sinister sounds and disturbing cries rise.
