Woot is a young boy from the far corner of Gillikin Country of The Land of Oz.
"Woot the Wanderer", as he is known, often journeys from the comfort of his home to seek adventure in the world. In "The Tin Woodman of Oz" Woot sets off to see the Emporeror of the Winkies, the famous Tin Woodman of Oz.
It is at the prompting of Woot that Tin Woodman recalls how he came to be made of tin and lost his true love.
Tin Woodman, Scarecrow and Woot find adventure aplenty as they travel through Oz on their quest to find Nimmie Amee.
